Tas Steiner
Founder & President

Tas Steiner grew up in Loudonville, NY and has lived in NYC, Boston, LA & has resided in Saratoga Springs, NY with his two dogs Henry and Bosie for the last 5 years. Tas worked as a celebrity publicist, event planner and promoter for The Oscars, and Emmy Awards to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tas went to graduate school later in his life and became a psychotherapist who has a private practice in Albany, NY where he treats individuals, couples, & families. He also is a trained LGBTQ Affirmative Therapist and enjoys working with the LGBTQ community. Tas has volunteered as a member for Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s largest fundraising arm, The Action Council for the last 5 yrs, and one of his highlights has been co-chairing SPAC’s Ballet Gala and SaratogaArtsFest’s Masquerade Ball Gala.

Ellen Beal
Director

Ellen Beal serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for SaratogaArtsFest, an organization that presents multi-genre arts events showcasing the region’s many artistic groups, performers, and artists in venues throughout Saratoga Springs. Ellen has 20 years’ experience serving in executive positions in global multimedia publishing organizations, including Berlitz, National Geographic, and StayWell Publishing. Ellen holds a B.A. in English and History from Lafayette College and completed graduate course work in cultural anthropology at Brandeis University. In her free time, she loves getting lost in a good book, bicycling, hiking, and kayaking, live music, and spending time with her husband Brad and two daughters, Shannon and Devon. Ellen is a member of the 2018 class of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Saratoga program.

Timothy Healy
Treasurer
Tim grew up in Kenilworth NJ and attended Drew University in Madison NJ.
 
Tim retired from banking almost 5 years ago after a 35 year career in the industry in varied positions including financial planner, manager, business development officer, and loan officer. The bank changed names numerous times as banks tend to do.
 
Tim served on the Board of Directors of The Pride Center of NJ for 10 years with 6 of those as President and has always been active in the LGBTQ community. Tim was also on the board of his local Key Club and the Treasurer for The Historical Society of Highlands NJ. Tim also taught business classes for Junior Achievement.
 
Tim and Jerry, his husband of nearly 37 years moved to Queensbury after he retired, along with their (currently) 4 dogs Sandy, Bailey, Callie, and Izzy. This was after spending the last 22 years in Aberdeen NJ. They had been vacationing here 1 week a year for 30 years and also wanted to be close to Tim's best childhood friend and her daughter, who is also his Goddaughter, and her children. Tim's 89 year old Mother,Betty, also moved here at the same time building her home 4 houses away from them.
 
Tim enjoys bowling, having bowled on an IGBO League for 18 years. Tim and his husband also enjoy caring for special needs dogs, traveling the world, theater and cultural activities, and dining out.
Rebecca Foster

Rebecca Foster grew up in Nassau, NY and now lives in East Greenbush, NY.  Rebecca has an Associate’s Degree in Human Services from Hudson Valley Community College.  Rebecca lives with her dad, Kevin and older brother, Cody.

Lori Gayle

Lori Gayle grew up in Norwalk, CT. She has lived in Saratoga Springs, NY for the last 3 years with her wife Margaret and dog Harriet.

Lori works for the New York State Unified Court System as a DV/IDV Coordinator. Also, she is a therapist in private practice where she treats couples, individuals and families. She is also an addiction specialist with over 25 years in the field of addiction/recovery.
