WASS Provides Those Served By Albany Damien Center With A New Computer Lab

WASS granted $5,000 to the Albany Damien Center for their new Computer Lab to purchase computers and equipment to allow people living with HIV/AIDS to go online to access resources and support for such things as finding housing, employment and reaching out to family and friends on social media.

“Financially insecure members of the LGBTQ communities, and those who are impacted by HIV and AIDS, do not often have access to a computer or the internet leaving them disconnected, isolated and with adverse health and quality of life outcomes.  This generous donation allows our members to connect to the world—and is a vital resource for those looking to go to school or return to work.” — Perry Junjulas ED Albany Damien Center
