
WASS Provides Those Served By Albany Damien Center With A New Computer Lab
WASS granted $5,000 to the Albany Damien Center for their new Computer Lab to purchase computers and equipment to allow people living with HIV/AIDS to go online to access resources and support for such things as finding housing, employment and reaching out to family and friends on social media.

WASS Provides Funds For LGBTQ Youth Group Facilitator
Whispering Angels of Saratoga Springs granted the Pride Center of the Capital Region $3,000 for a permanent facilitator for the LGBTQ Youth Group that meets regularly in Saratoga Springs. The group is a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQ youth and their allies ages 13-17 to discuss issues of coming out, school, work, and relationships in a group of their peers and to socialize and meet new friends. The groups also meet in Saratoga, Albany, and Schenectady.

Whispering Angels of Saratoga Springs supports the Rainbow Access Initiative with a donation of $3,000 to help ensure comprehensive mental health care and human services for the LGBTQ community and their families based in the Capital District area.
